A Taekwondo Belt Grading Test was successfully organized at Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy by Taekwondo Association of Azamgarh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young Taekwondo practitioners representing different clubs across the district.
A total of 35 children successfully passed the grading test and qualified for their respective higher belt levels. Among them, 13 students were from Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy.
The other successful participants included 9 students from Bardah Taekwondo Club, 7 students from Lalganj, and 6 students from Tarwan Taekwondo Club.
The grading test marks another important milestone in the remarkable journey of Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy. What began as a modest sports initiative in a remote rural setting has steadily evolving into a vibrant center of sporting excellence, providing young with opportunities that were once beyond their reach.
Last month, its students participated in the National Open Taekwondo Championship held at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, winning five gold medals and one bronze medal.
Further strengthening the academy’s training ecosystem, five national and international-level Taekwondo coaches from Manipur conducted an intensive Advanced Poomsae Training during the summer camp. The visiting coaches were highly impressed by the dedication of the students, the quality of training facilities, and the academy’s vision of nurturing sporting talent in a rural environment.
The successful organization of the belt grading test also provided an opportunity for students and coaches from neighboring clubs to visit the academy and witness its activities firsthand.
With continued dedication and expert coaching, the academy is steadily emerging as a model for grassroots sports development in rural India.
